OSP Training Track

Today's OSP telecom technician must wear many hats . It's a challenge for most, if not all. It's an even greater challenge if those techs lack the special education and training that they must possess to perform their daily job. Today's technicians cannot rely on traditional methods of on-the-job training to get them to the level they need to be. The days of "if they're touching, they're talking" are over. Services that are offered and the test equipment needed to maintain them are much more complicated than those of the past.

Many of our clients have elected to participate in our OSP Technician Training Certification training track. All of them have seen very positive results from this 100% voluntary commitment. The training track is a list of courses that we and the rest of the industry feel today's OSP technician should take.

Courses taken from outside sources may qualify towards the OSP certification if approved by MTT's training administrator. Most of our courses will quailify for BICSI OSP credits as well.

This is not intended to be a chain marketing scheme; it is intended to put your company at a higher level, and to improve quality of service to your customers.

Completing OSP Certified Technicians will receive a card that they can carry for certification verification.

For example, companies in the CATV industry are giving pay increases for technicians who are taking telecom courses.
